About Emily A. Lindig
Emily’s primary areas of practice include personal injury, family and divorce law, DWI, criminal defense, and general law. Previously, she practiced as a Law Clerk for Judge Brenda Bedsole Ricks and Judge Jeffery T. Oglesbee in the 21st Judicial District Court.
She graduated from Southern University Law Center in May of 2018, and was admitted to the Louisiana BAR Association in October of 2018. While in law school, she received the Cali Award for her Professional Responsibility classwork.
Emily was elected to the Baton Rouge Bar Association Young Lawyers Section Council in November 2022.
Emily graduated from Baton Rouge Magnet High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She graduated from LSU with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Sociology. Before law school, Emily also worked as a Clerk in the Executive Counsel’s Office to the Governor or Louisiana.
She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Baton Rouge Bar Association, Baton Rouge Association for Family Law, and Wex S. Malone American Inn of Court.
Emily has recently become a mother to her first child, William. She is enjoying spending time with her new baby and navigating the waters of parenthood. Emily also enjoys spending her free time with friends and family.
